Ingredients :
1 cup unsalted butter, softened
¾ cup granulated sugar
¾ cup brown sugar, packed
2 large eggs, room temperature
1 tsp pure vanilla extract
2 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
½ tsp salt
2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
Instructions :
1. Preheat Oven :
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
2. Make the Dough :
In a large bowl, cream together butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in vanilla extract.
In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
Fold in chocolate chips.
3. Bake the Cookies :
Drop dough by rounded tablespoonfuls onto the prepared baking sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden but the centers are still soft.
Let cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
4. Serve :
Enjoy warm or store in an airtight container for up to 1 week.
